Tiffany Curtis (Softball) Pitching Instructor
Tiffany Curtis has lived in Newbury Park her entire life, playing softball for 14 years and pitching for 13. She played rec-ball and All Stars until she was 13 then moved on to travel ball with the Diamonds, followed by a Simi Valley team called Ballistic, and then lastly a Santa Clarita team called The Spoilers. Tiffany attended Newbury Park High School from 2003-2006 receiving 4 Varsity letters, scholar athlete awards, and team MVP awards.
Her biggest high school accomplishments were being Pitcher of the Year for the Marmonte League in 2005 as well as pitching a perfect game at the Birmingham Tournament.
When looking for colleges Tiffany had the choice of staying near home or going cross country. She decided that it would be a great life experience playing softball on the east coast, so she headed to Bethlehem, PA for four great years at Lehigh University. Being one of two starters during her career, Tiffany achieved an ending record of almost 500 strikeouts, 2.2 ERA and first team All League honors three of her four years. Lehigh came out on top of the Patriot league two years in a row and they were privileged enough to go on to the NCAA Softball Regionals. Some highlights of her career at Lehigh were pitching another perfect game in Florida against Saint Bonaventure (only the third in Lehigh’s history) and Pitcher of the Year for the Patriot League in 2010.
Now Tiffany is back in the Conejo Valley and loves coaching at BYA. If you would like to schedule pitching or hitting lessons with Tiffany give her a call at 805-807-5991.
