Bob is an accomplished head softball coach with proven results focusing on teaching fastpitch softball through individual instruction and clinics for players advancement to 4 year universities.
 
Bob has over 28 years of coaching, developing and promoting fastpitch softball programs. Bob is a top level instructor and lifelong student of the sport, continuously learning to improve his instruction skills to better his students.

• Bob has coached 11 teams to ASA Nationals at -12U-14U-16U- and 18 Gold –    3 Top 10 Finishes: 1 – 3rd Place, 2 - 5th place, 2 - 9th places – 2 - 17th place - 2 top 25 Finishes – 2 top 33 Finishes - Recorded 815 wins and 135 losses.
• Sponsored by Victory Uniforms and Mizuno Sports Gear, Bob Zappia is the Head Coach for the Victory USA 18Gold (formerly So Cal Diamonds 18 Gold) Softball Team; From 1994 to the present, Bob has lead the 18Gold Girls ASA TravelBall Fastpitch Softball team.
• He has personally been involved with the placement of over 85 players getting recruited to play in College - 90% of them on Scholarships or Grants.
• Several years at Newbury Park High School and Westlake High School - Bob was a 7 year Varsity Coach – Recorded 120 wins and 32 losses – Bob also Coached JV softball – Recorded 80 wins and 22 losses.
